The Monkey Tree Cold Beer and Wine Store was the first of its kind in British Columbia, opened by hospitality icon Gordon Card in 1986. It's been a local beacon ever since, and the store has started a new exciting chapter under Glenn Barlow of Cook St. Liquor and 30+ years of wine & liquor industry experience. Borden St. Liquor will bring an elevated wine, beer and spirits selection to the neighbourhood.
As an independent, our job is to curate the selection. We can bring you edgy, new products, one-time buys, as well as the standard craft and vintage greats.
